About Shrop Sweep

My name is Mark and I am the business owner of Shrop Sweep. I am a friendly, welcoming and professional chimney sweep based in the small and beautiful town of Cleobury Mortimer. As a professional chimney sweep I am fully insured and qualified to sweep a chimney to a high professional standard. I am trained by and a member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps.

For the past twenty or so years I have been working for a fast food restaurant where I have built my customer care skills to deliver the best possible service. I decided that I wanted something that belonged to me. Something that I could build on and something that i was passionate about, but at the same time keeping my heart in dealing with customers and the public.

I have always loved the look and the cosy feel of a nice warm roaring fire. I was brought up in the country with a stove in my living room, roaring away on those dark cold nights and this is something that I have never out grown out of. With my customer care skills and my passion for a warm fire, chimney sweeping was the right move for me and I have never looked back.

I pride myself on the thinking that if a job is worth doing then it’s worth doing right. I am reliable, friendly, professional and above all passionate about my job. I strive for high cleanliness standards and I will always ensure that a home is left exactly as I found it.
